Antelope Canyon

~ Antelope Canyon ~

Whilst we were in the Grand Canyon we decided to the 3 hour drive to the Antelope Canyon, you have to have a tour to visit this place as it is scared  ground and the canyons can have freak flooding which has killed people in the past. The Antelope canyon is like nothing you’ve ever seen before. Every turn has a different story, a different shade of orange, the marbling of the sand is just amazing.

The canyon is actually made by water rushing through it and then drying. The tour guides are pretty awesome, although you do go with about 5 other groups each with their own tour guides so it gets pretty busy and crammed down there, all those photos you see with no-one in them have either been edited or they were the first of the pack to go through.. or the last like we tried to be. But they do try to hurry you up all the time which is frustrating.
